MY TRIP TO TAMAKI COLLEGE SCIENCE ROADSHOW!

Exploring Tamaki College Science RoadShow!

Today room 7 and room 5 had a trip to Tamaki College Roadshow. I was going with Lusia’s grandmother who was free to take Henrietta, Lusia, Olga and myself to the Roadshow At Tamaki.

Inside the hall St Pius senior school and St Heilers school settle down. We were introduced by a man named Shane. He showed us different experiments that were so stunning and amazing! Each experiment was my favourite because they were all so cool.

After that we were told to go and explore each station which was my favourite part of the trip. We got to look at or work out each station. My favourite station was the one that you had try and read the colours so quickly. When I try to read the colours on the board quickly it turned out that my words came out slowly and I felt confused because reading colours so fast is to hard for me. I enjoyed the trip to Tamaki College and I had so much fun!

I want to see more amazing experiments! Hopefully next time I will like to go back and explore more about Roadshow!

EXPLORING SPARK HEAD OFFICE !

Exploring Spark !

Okay we are taking off now, I was full of excitement. We are off to the Spark Head Office. I did not care what we will do there but I was excited about going on a school trip on a Sunday.  I woke up and got ready to go to school.  An unusual day to go to school.  I normally go to church on Sundays.

We have arrived at Spark Head Office in town!  It took us about 30 minutes on the bus.  Wow! There were children everywhere.   Children were from different schools around Auckland.   I wondered what  we were going to do at this massive place.  I was amazed how big the Spark Head Office was.

We were greeted by a lady from Spark and were told to get into 5 groups.  We were given different wristband colours. We were mixed with students from other schools.
I was in the yellow group.  We were sent to the Sciences for our first workshop. It was amazing to see what happened when we mix milk, paint and dish detergent liquid.  It was like a miracle. The liquid turned white.  I wonder where the colours went!

I had to do robotic, unmaking, scratch programming and 3D printing.  It was an amazing experience.  I knew scratch as I was doing some work on it at school but I still learnt some great things when I was at Spark Head office.
My favourite activity was the robotic.  I enjoyed setting the program on the computer and it linked to my robot to make it move.  I feel I can do this at school if I have the robot and the program.  I would like to learn more about it.

A Mother is a female human being  who gives everlasting love and happiness to her child. Mothers are too valuable for you to sell, because they are very special and trustworthy, Mothers are always there to help in times of need.

My mother is precious to me, without her I would not exist.  She is very supportive and shows act of kindness. I  know my mother more  than any other, she gives me happiness and lots of love.

My mother is always there waiting for me to share my troubles and worries with her. I am truly  thankful to have a Mother. Just to

Recount: My holidays

Through the holidays I have read a chapter book called Secrets. The book Secret is written by Jacqueline Wilson and is Illustrated by Nick Sharratt . This type of book is a Fiction book. This book is contained for younger readers and also for older readers too.

The book is partially  about  two girls who had different lifetimes, but turns out they both meet each other, then became good friends. This book really interested my thoughts and I had made a great connection with this book, finding out new and interesting words that I can use for mt at school.

I enjoyed so much reading the book SECRETS, May I look forward,  finding other interesting books to read.
