DAY:1
Activity 1: Go to the Tourism New Zealand website and click on the ‘Facts - New Zealand People’ tab. Read about the people of New Zealand and then choose three interesting facts to post on your blog. The facts must be written in your own words. Do not simply copy and paste the facts from the website☺.
If you can't see or read my writing clearly please click below and it will zoom up and you will get a better view ( thanks) :)
Hi von, It's great to see you joining the journey. Have you ever been fishing before, I have it;s really fun but you have to have patients. Love your blogging von !
ReplyDeleteKia ora Von,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Winter Learning Journey programme for 2017. It is so great to have you back blogging with us once again!
I had to smile when I read your DLO because I was much like you when I first moved to New Zealand (NZ). I came from Canada where virtually no one plays rugby and didn't know much about the sport. As a result, I wasn't terribly interested in watching it on television, however, I have grown to like it a lot more over time. In fact, I sat down and watched the recent All Blacks v. British/Irish Lions games. I even found myself cheering and sitting on the edge of my seat a few times!
Did you watch the games by any chance? There were three and the All Blacks won Game #1, the Lions won Game #2 and they tied Game #3. It was a pretty interesting way to end the series...
I can see that you've already posted a number of great blog so I will head away and read them now. I'm really looking forward to it! Both Jacinta and I will do our best to post comments as quickly as we can over the next few days.
Keep up the great work!
~Rachel
