I have 3 differences of these 2 timetable/diary and I only have 1  thing that is similar  between these 2 timetable/ diary.

DIFFERENCES:
  1. In my class, we have a reflection to write about for each subject and that German does not have Reflection in their diary.
  2. Germany have their Breaks earlier than our school SPX.
  3. In my class we don’t do Science, Physical Education, history, German or French.

SIMILAR:
What’s similar to these two diary/ timetable is that  they both have the time for each subject.
Whether you would rather go to school in New Zealand or in Germany?
I would go to school in New Zealand because It would be hard to understand and learn German language.

Why do you feel that way?
I feel that way because I always thought that German people are strict about speaking in their language perfectly.  Learning their language is a great idea! It’s just that... I’m too scared to learn their language because if I messed up and said  something wrong in German….. I always think that I would get a growling from a German teacher or I get send home.

Weekly Activities/ Day 9/ Activity 2/ Week 2

Activity 2
Some families are very large and some are very small. Some of the smallest families are found in China where parents are allowed, by law, to have only one child. This is quite different from countries like America (U.S.A.) where some families have as many as 19 or 20 children. It is rare but it does happen!
In America, there is actually a family with 19 children who have their own television show called ’19 Kids and Counting.’ All 19 children have the same two parents (Jim Bob and Michelle) and every single one of the children has a name starting with the letter ‘J.’ The oldest children is a boy named Josh and the youngest is a girl named Josie. Amazing!
If you’d like to see a small clip from the show, follow this link: 19 Kids and Counting
Imagine that you were one of the Duggar children and you had 18 brothers and sisters. What do you think it would be like to have so many sisters and brothers living with you in one house? On your blog please tell us what you would like and what you wouldn’t like about living in such a large family.

I would like to live: in a large family because you can get a lot of help
I wouldn’t like to live: in a large family because sometimes your parents can’t afford this and that for a number of kids and besides who's going to look after the kids when their parents are busy at work. I mean it’s certainly fine if the oldest sibling looks after the younger ones but what if the Oldest sibling went out with his/ her friends and left the younger ones at home… by themselves . Secondly sometimes your brothers and sisters treats you unfairly or sometimes bullies you or makes you cry.

Weekly Activities/ Day 9/ Activity 1/ Week 2

Activity 1
Now that you have met my family it is time to think about your own family. On your blog tell us about your family. How many people are in your family? Do you have any brothers or sisters? What are their names?

FAMILY:
My mother's name is June and my fathers name is Koso, my father is now living in the United States. Me and my mum lives with my 2 aunties, together with my uncles ( my mum's older sisters and also her 2 brother in laws ).  I have no siblings which is not fair because sometimes I’m lonely and have no one to talk to…….. but  I used to have a sister. She was older and she was born before me, unfortunately she died when she was born.  I have a really  huge family living in Tonga and I really wish to see them sometime.

Weekly Activities/ Day 8 / Activity 1/ Week 2

Activity 1
What are your favourite things to do in the summer time? For this activity you have two different options: (1) You can take a picture of yourself doing one of your favourite summer time activities and upload it to your blog along with a description of what you’re doing or (2) you can write a paragraph that tells us about what you love doing in the summer on your blog. It is completely up to you!

(2) you can write a paragraph that tells us about what you love doing in the summer on your blog:
In  Summertime I would love to go shopping with my friends or perhaps going to the movies would be great idea! But what I usually do in Summertime is relax on the sofa and eat ice cream while I’m reading a  book. Watching T.V. is one of my best relaxing thing to do in Summer time, seriously you don’t have to do anything just sit there and watch T.V. until you fall asleep.

Weekly Activities/ Day 7/ Bonus Activity/ Week 2

Bonus Activity
According to numerous researchers and fitness experts, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. They argue that people who eat breakfast will have more energy, be in a better mood, be able to think more clearly, do better at school and end up healthier than people who don’t eat breakfast.
Interestingly, not everyone agrees. In fact, some people believe that breakfast is not the most important meal of the day because people often eat too much food at breakfast time, gain weight and become unhealthy. They think that it is better to skip breakfast and eat a number of small meals later in the day.
After reading the arguments presented above, what do you think? Is breakfast the most important meal of the day? Why or why not?
I think that Breakfast is the most important meal for the day….  Because breakfast lightens up our day and  helps kids at school to think more clearly and get their work done...
Here is a short reason why I think children should eat Breakfast:  Some  kids wake up and leaves for school  without having breakfast.  Now while the kids are at school doing their work , you see their brains don’t work probably and not much work is done or learning happening. Well that’s because their tummy is empty (no food inside your tummy) your tummy begins to grumble, which alerts to your brain that the tummy needs food...
I would also like to say that PLEASE  parents make sure your kids have breakfast before they go to school. Or maybe run a breakfast club in every school, so kids can have breakfast when they come to school in the morning. :)

Weekly Activities/ Day 7/ Activity 2/ week 2

Activity 2
Some of the most famous foods to come out of New Zealand include kiwifruit, lamb, whitebait, oysters, tuatua (shellfish), kumara, bacon and egg pie, hokey pokey ice cream, lolly cake, anzac biscuits and pavlova. Take a picture of you (or someone you know!) eating one of these famous ‘kiwi’ foods. Post the picture to your blog. Underneath the picture tell us what they are eating.
Sorry Rachel I couldn’t take a photo of me eating one of Nz famous food or taking a photo of someone else I know that ate one of Nz famous food. But what I do have is a photo of my class provided free lunches that were very healthy. Some of the nutrition food in our packet of free lunch were the anzac cookies
" oh my the cookies were so delicious"
Here is a photo of my class and Teacher provided free healthy lunches:)

Weekly Activities/ Day 7/ Activity 1/ Week 2

I have  toast for breakfast  with milo

  1. What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast
In german their most favourite breakfast to eat would be
